A well-known decongestant, Eucalyptus is often used to alleviate congestion and support the body while dealing with colds and flu. It can be helpful in managing conditions like sinusitis and other respiratory complaints by assisting with their symptoms.
Eucalyptus has rejuvenating properties that can help soothe joints and muscles when combined with a blending oil and used during massage. Additionally, it has been known to assist with circulation issues throughout the body.
Due to its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, Eucalyptus is a key essential oil to keep in your cleaning cupboard. Able to purify and cleanse your home, you can add Eucalyptus essential oil to hot water to clean floors and surfaces around the home or add a couple of drops to the bottom of your bins to keep them smelling fresh.
Ingredients
Ingredients – 100% pure Eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus) leaf oil.
Our Ethically Harvested Eucalyptus essential oil originates from China. It’s extracted from the fragrant blue-green leaves of the plant using steam distillation to produce a thin, colourless essential oil.
Massage Blend – Add up to 5 drops per 10ml of blending oil. This can help relieve muscular aches and pains. Use with caution on sensitive, damaged or allergy-prone skin. Not recommended for use on the face.
Bath Blend – Add 4-6 drops of Eucalyptus to 20ml of blending oil. Add to your bath water and swirl to disperse. This will make at least 3 baths. Not recommended for those with sensitive skin.
Inhalation – Useful for relieving head colds and nasal congestion, add 3 drops of Eucalyptus to a bowl of hot water, place a towel over your head, close your eyes and breathe. This application is not suitable for asthmatics, instead use in a diffuser.
